Who we are

Navigating Cancer was founded in 2008 as the result of two healthcare and technology veterans coming together to fill a critical gap in oncology care: a better patient experience.  Driven by a shared passion to leverage technology in the healthcare space, the co-founders set out to create the first patient-centered platform for oncology. Today, our Navigating Care platform supports over one million patients and thousands of cancer care providers nationwide to lower costs, improve patient satisfaction and drive better outcomes.

 

The Job:

  • Engage with with executives, product managers, and key stakeholders to contribute to and execute on the company’s product vision & roadmap, and develop new ideas related to potential features and market opportunities
  • Translate the company mission, business objectives, and customer learning into product releases, user stories, and development priorities to drive overall business success
  • Drive the product development lifecycle from ideation and customer validation through launch in an Agile development environment, working closely with your product team colleagues. Adjust requirements based on strategy shifts or external and internal feedback 
  • Work directly with customers and partners to understand their needs from both a business/work-flow and technical perspective. Define and drive the product requirements and strategies necessary to ensure successful adoption of the product.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Engineering and UX/Design to support full customer lifecycle management activities including validation, pilots, betas and full launches, product adoption & utilization, and customer experience optimization.
  • Engage and partner with Product Marketing and company sales professionals to help facilitate their product knowledge, contribute to positioning and messaging, provide content to support the creation of effective sales tools and product demonstrations or other materials
  • Define and track business and product metrics to understand performance and progress toward company goals. Gather customer, competitive and market intelligence to identify trends, issues, and opportunities to improve Navigating Cancer’s products & services.

 

The Successful Candidate:

  • Minimum BS/BA and at least 5 years of experience in related roles, ideally working on a SaaS product, with a track record of successful product launches
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare business model across the continuum of care
  • Excellent communicator, comfortable in high-level client meetings, able to facilitate and conduct customer meetings and conversations with all levels of stakeholders
  • Passion for getting to the root of the customer problem in order to deliver value to end users 
  • Very strong analytical and problem solving skills, and highly organized, with great attention to ensure required details are not overlooked
  • Experience working in an agile/scrum environment, communicating effectively with developers and successfully managing and prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment.
  • Experience collaborating with UX/Design to create wireframes, prototypes, and final designs that deliver product value and ease of use
  • Passion for the mission of Navigating Cancer and a strong desire to impact an up-and-coming healthcare technology company

This position is full time, on-site with the Navigating Cancer team in our office in downtown Seattle. We offer competitive compensation and benefits.
