Job Summary: 

The Human Resource (HR) Coordinator helps facilitate all HR processes & procedures. This role administers employee health benefit plans, owns the employee onboarding/offboarding process and fosters positive employee relations. A key part of this role is guiding candidates and hiring managers through the recruiting process, along with new hire onboarding coordinating.  This role provides administrative support to the HR function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance, HRIS and ATS entry.


  • Assist with recruiting new employees & follow them through the whole recruiting cycle in our ATS (JazzHR).  Including conducting initial phone screens, team interview coordination, using LinkedIn Recruiter, engaging hiring managers, etc.
  • Assist with onboarding new employees, using a checklist w/ specific duties. Including initial first day training, I-9 verification, HRIS entry, scheduling orientation meetings, etc. 
  • Assist with offboarding terminating employees using a checklist w/ specified duties. 
  • Administer benefits including assisting employees when needed, reconciling benefit statements.
  • Helps the Admin team plan and set-up team activities and events for the company and individual teams. Helps to evaluate the success of each activity, event, or outing and identifies opportunities for improvement in the future.
  • Filing documents & keeping employee records current. 
  • Helps the Office Manager with additional projects, as necessary. 
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements: 

  • Must be able to work 1-2 days per week in the downtown Seattle office. (Perks include free lunch, fully stocked kitchen and paid parking).
  • Has working knowledge and experience using ADP as an HRIS system.
  • Has used and administered Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), bonus if you are familiar with JazzHR.
  • Health Benefits administration experience.
  • Able to help plan and execute projects working closely with the HR Manager.
  • At least 2 years of work experience in Human Resources or Recruiting. 
  • Working understanding of Human Resource principles, practices and procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.
  • Proficient with Google and Microsoft suite applications.
  • Bonus if you have experience in: Employee Relations; working with Executives; Leadership skills

Experience & Physical Requirements:

  • At least two years related HR experience required.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to set up and participate in team activities.

Base pay range: $50,000/yr - $70,000/yr + 10% Corporate Bonus
